About Isaiah Belknap
Chief of Clinical Operations & CEO Mentee
Isaiah Belknap is a San Carlos Apache Tribal Member. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona, and raised in the community. Isaiah has always been interested in the medical field which has guided his career decision into the healthcare field of study. He graduated from Globe High School, obtained an Associate’s Degree from Eastern Arizona College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Administration from Grand Canyon University, then attended the Colangelo College of Business and graduated with a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Health Systems Management from Grand Canyon University. Isaiah has had the opportunity to do many great things within his community that allowed him to contribute his experience and commitment to the San Carlos Apache Tribe. Much of his experience was gained in roles such as becoming an EMT right out of high school, and working at the following local entities: SCAT Forestry Department, San Carlos Unified School District, San Carlos Head Start Program, Boys & Girls Club of the San Carlos Apache Nation, Diabetes Prevention Program and the San Carlos Apache Department of Health and Human Services. Isaiah was also one of the founding SCAHC Board Members prior to becoming an employee of the SCAHC.
Recently Isaiah has taken on the role of CEO Mentee and is working closely with the current CEO Vicki Began to learn the intricacies of operating a beautiful facility such as the San Apache Healthcare Corporation, Izee Ba Gowah.
