Dr. Lapriel Dia, DNP, MHI, BSN, RN

Chief Nursing Officer

Ms. Dia serves as the Chief Nursing Officer for San Carlos Apache Healthcare. Lapriel has been with SCAHC since 2017, initially as the Assistant Nursing Manager for the outpatient department and the Director of Nursing at SCAHC before becoming the Chief Nursing Officer. Ms. Dia has prior experience delivering nursing care in the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Phoenix, Whiteriver Indian Health Services, Acoma-Laguna-Canoncito service unit in New Mexico and Tsehootsooi Medical Center in Fort Defiance, AZ. Lapriel is San Carlos Apache and Navajo. Lapriel has earned her Master of Health Innovation and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University. Ms. Dia’s interests are in relationship-based care and nursing leadership.
