Ms. James is a Clinical Social Worker for the Department of Health and Human Services with the San Carlos Apache Tribe. She earned her Master in Social Work from Arizona State University. Ms. James has served as Assistant Manager with the San Carlos Apache Hospital Project, and as a Lead Academic Counselor with the San Carlos Education Department. Ms. James has also been a guest speaker for the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Human Services Program where she has addressed issues of case management and Indian child welfare. She is a member of the National Indian Child Welfare Association. Ms. James joined the Board of Directors in 2014.
