Jo Lazo has served as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of SCAHC since 2016, bringing a wealth of diverse and inspiring experience to her role. As a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe, Jo’s professional journey began in 1997 with a pioneering Tribal venture, the San Carlos Apache Telecommunications Utility Inc., where she commenced as the first Customer Service Representative before advancing to the role of Administrative Service Manager over the course of a decade. In 2008, she ventured into entrepreneurship, owning and operating the San Carlos Cafe for eight years. Jo is deeply committed to upholding the mission, vision, and values of SCAHC, wholeheartedly endorsing their Patient First initiative.
