Randall Ellis, MD, MPH, MBA

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Ellis has more than 30 years of clinical experience.  He earned an MD from Vanderbilt University and is residency-trained in Family Medicine at the University of Arizona and Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University.  He is board certified in Emergency Medicine.  He also earned a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from the University of Texas-Dallas.  Prior to coming to SCAHC in 2022, Dr. Ellis had extensive experience in clinical care and provider management in Tennessee and Kentucky.  Over the past 20 years he has also been involved in global healthcare education and development in Haiti, Ghana, Zambia, Malawi, Guyana, and Uganda.
